Finally Here...

I have been asked by many to start a blog to keep everyone up-to-date on daily activities as they happen in the school. As things have settled with the move, we are now able to make this available.

The new school is awesome and we appreciate everyone's support in making this possible. I know everyone is proud of your new training facility. Without a doubt, we have the nicest school around; to go along with the best students.

TaeKwonDo
Everyone has been training hard for the upcoming tournament in Knoxville, TN. We are confident our team will be successful. There is a preparation class for all competitors on Saturday, February 28th at 12:30pm. Be sure to get signed up!!

Kickboxing
Classes were great this week working on mitt combinations and basics. I want to extend gratitude to the black belts for helping out with all the new students.
Good luck to Mrs. Snyder and Kevin Schroder as they head up to Ohio next week to fight at the Arnold Classic. They have been training hard and appreciate everyone pushing them in class. We'll keep you posted on results.
Mr. Bill "Superfoot" Wallace will be in Reidsville on Thursday, March 19th to teach a seminar. Remember our school is the only one in the Triad affiliated with the Superfoot Systems and want to show our support to Mr. Wallace. You are guaranteed to learn some good material and have fun. Be sure to see us if you are interested in attending.

Brazilian JiuJitsu
Great job to everyone for the hard work this week in getting ready for the upcoming NAGA events. We have been fortunate to have some visitors come in and train with us this week. If you have missed class, then get in here - you never know who is going to show up.
We have Mr. Jory Malone (Nova Uniao Black Belt) coming in to teach a seminar on April 4th. Mr. Malone has competed in the Abu Dhabi; Pan Ams; Mundials; and many other top accrediated tournaments. He will definately help you improve you ground game.

We have other seminars with world-class grapplers and open mat sessions with local teams coming up soon. Look for announcements as these dates are confirmed.

Mixed Martial Arts
Our team has been looking good in training and making preparations for some upcoming fights. Thanks goes to Mr. Gauldin for helping with this training during the move.

I want to tell the team how proud I am that you keep MMA legit though your daily training. You know and understand that gaining Martial Arts skills is necessary before you start "mixing them". Our training is not done through DVD's and YouTube videos. It comes from competition and working with some of the best instructors and legit teams around.
I look forward to seeing everyone in class next week. There are a lot of events on the agenda which makes for some exciting things.
