It's been a great week training for all programs. There are some big things upcoming at the school. Tomorrow is the big BJJ open mat workout with TeamROC & Revolution. This will be great for all teams involved. Both Laban Probst and Scott Clawson are good instructors who will provide some good tips for our guys. We will all go to JP Looney's afterwards. Funny how we have had students from other gyms come in and ask to join this workout.
Additionally, a few people from area gyms have recently signed up. We want to make sure we make them feel welcome and help progress their skills.

I know some of our guys have been hearing things from members of other gyms. It's easy to "talk the talk" but until they "walk the walk" who cares what they say. Interesting enough NONE of them have been in any competitions lately (okay maybe one) but claim to be better than our guys.

I want to welcome Tyler and Frank Price to our gym. Tyler is a 17-year old stud who has a tremendous amount of fight experience; won numerous title belts already. Tyler is getting ready to make some big moves in his fight career as he gets ready to turn 18. They came to us so our fighters can work together for upcoming events. I've known the Price's for many years and glad we are able to work together on a regular basis. Please introduce yourself to them when they come in the school.

Dr. Dan has given me some really interesting facts on hydration and recovery drinks. These are the latest studies which provide a tremendous amount of insight. See me when you come in to the school for this information. Dan has been a great addition to our team. Between him and Doc, we have the area's foremost experts when it comes to Exercise, Sport Science, and Athletic Training. Others can put all the acronyms after their name, but these gentleman have the education and resumes to prove their knowledge. LDMA is blessed to have them on our team!
